Sugar Log is built so that your health information stays with you. The short version: your glucose readings, meals, and notes never leave your phone, and we never see them.
Everything you log — readings, meals, notes, targets — is stored only in your own device's local browser storage. There is no account, no login, no server that receives your data, no analytics, and no advertising or third-party tracking inside the app. We (the developer) cannot see, retrieve, or recover your data, because we never receive it.
If you export a backup or CSV file, that file is created on your device and saved wherever you choose. It stays in your control. We recommend keeping a backup, since your data lives only on your device — if you delete the app or clear your browser data, it cannot be recovered by us.
Purchases are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. When you buy Pro, you interact with Lemon Squeezy's checkout, and they process your payment and email address under their privacy policy. We receive basic order information (such as the fact that a purchase was made and your order email for support) but never your full card details. When the app checks a license key, it sends only the license key to verify it — never any of your health data.
The Sugar Log website and app are served as static files by our hosting provider. Like any website, the host may automatically record standard technical logs (such as IP address and request information) for security and reliability. This is separate from your in-app data and does not include your health information.
Sugar Log is intended for adults managing their own pregnancy tracking and is not directed to children under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
